Texting epic fail!

Texting on a keyboard phoneImage via WikipediaI have been very careful in sending text messages, whether official and personal.  I have been wanting to hook up meet the guy I met 2 years ago.  So I kept on texting him, because he might have been busy, all along.  You know, he is a medical doctor, and you know how doctors are.

Anyway, here is my recollection of our text conversation:

Me:  Hello bro!  Kumusta na?  Do you still remember me?

Him:  No response.

Me:  I am ______.  The one you had dinner with at Cafe by the Ruins. [then I mentioned Name of Hotel] Remember?

Him:  Okay.

Me:  Want to meet up again?  I might go to Baguio soon.

Him: No response. (He was always like that. So I never bothered to follow up again.)

Then, after a while, I looked up his number again to follow up, and lo and behold!  This is not the guy I was texting the last hour!  Geez!!!!!!  I got goosebumps all over, and realized it was my former boss who is also a doctor.  They happen to have same first names!  Para akong binuhusan ng malamig na tubig. The only difference in the phone entry is I "Doc _____" and the one I am supposed to text was "G.Dr.___".  The letter "G" stands for "gay" or "G4M".

How could I miss that one????!!!

Anyway, I never bothered to follow up anymore, unless I would like my former boss to pry into my personal affairs--gay affairs, at that!  I just realized the guy has changed phones (He has several phones.  Three, I think.).  I found his profile in PR and re-introduced myself to him, but no response.  So he is no longer interested in meeting up, perhaps...nakaka-miss pa naman.  We both like to cuddle pa naman...LOL!

Anyway, life must go on. Finally, I have been able to share this and I hope this would serve as a catharsis, and not bother me anymore.  I deleted the number of my former boss already, though I wonder what he was thinking about my text messages. Hahaha!

Most important of all....Lesson learned.

Disconnect to reconnect

For the past week, I have avoided blogging to talk about my worldly existence.  I am slowly going back...and I just found the right explanation why we need to be disconnected sometimes. I want to share this with you, and I am sure you'll know what I mean...

Mr. G's ultimate crush

Many years ago, I have noticed a CNN reporter who was not only endowed  with physical attractiveness, but also the wit and wisdom.  I just find him so hot, gorgeous and admirable.  He is no other than: Yes, CNN's Anderson Cooper ! Why is he my ultimate crush? He has it between those ears. He has it between those ears. He has it between those ears. I could go on and on with my "list", LOL!  But that is what makes this man so attractive.  And one juicy part is that he is rumored to be gay and is in a relationship with an equally hot and rich gay mogul, Benjamin Maisani. Cooper does not give any comment on the rumors, though. If that happens to me (I mean when I am rumored to be one), I would neither comment, deny, nor confirm.  Bahala na si Batman! And....they are a hot couple, and I am *jealous!* More photos HERE .
